Croix Mouton produces wines intended for pleasure, and excellent while still young. Entirely Merlot driven, they are full bodied and rich in flavour, easy to drink but with finesse and a stunning display of fresh red fruit on the palate.

It is a perfumed wine, with elegant aromas of ripe black fruit recalling fig and blackcurrant, typical of the Cabernet Sauvignon from this area. The Syrah makes its presence felt with delicate aromas of sweet spices and leather that heighten the character.
Fresh and juicy on the palate, due in no small part to the percentage of Tempranillo in the blend.

Black core, purple rim. A kaleidoscope of aromas. First noted, sweet pastries. Blueberry danish and chocolate croissant. Sugar dusting. The fruits of the forest are quick to emerge, fresh blackberries and mulberries dominant. There is the faintest suggestion of formic acid, Max Schubert would approve.
